As you know – the Aurora Co-op Preschool is a non-profit organization that runs many of its daily operational expenses off the generosity of our members and supporters. We couldn’t survive without this support and we thank each and every one of you!
We have many ways to support the co-op and hope you will choose one or more that fits your family’s lifestyles:
Things you do everyday:
Good Search/Good Shop
What if the Aurora Co-op Preschool earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can!
GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!
GoodShop.com is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting your favorite cause.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter the Aurora Co-op Preschool as the charity you want to support. And, be sure to spread the word!
Heinen’s Tasteful Rewards Program
From September 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009 there is an easy way for you to help raise money for your child’s preschool.
Donate 1% of your purchases made at Heinen’s to the Aurora Co-op by simply showing your Heinen’s Preferred Card that has been registered in the Tasteful Rewards program. Below is a link Heinen's Tasteful Rewards Program.
Other Ways to Help:
Monetary Donations
Emergency Family Fund
The Aurora Co-op would like to extend our support to concrete assistance for our families when they experience financial crises. On several occasions, our treasurer and our director have been approached by a parent who feels their child’s preschool enrollment is no longer financially feasible. We have established an emergency fund in order to offer tuition assistance for a short period of time and/or to purchase meals and other necessities for the children and their families in times of need. Assistance to families is provided at the discretion of the Executive Board, and is determined on a fair and equal basis.
Your monetary donations are tax-deductible and we'll be happy to provide you or your organization with a receipt - please request receipt in the questions/comment section.
